Job Description / Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and opinion to the university on various legal matters
- Review and guide on contracts, agreements, policies, and institutional legal documents
- Assist in handling legal disputes, litigation strategy, and court-related matters in coordination with appointed lawyers
- Ensure compliance of university activities with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Support the university authority in drafting legal notices, replies, and official communications
- Provide guidance on regulatory issues and institutional governance matters

Educational Qualifications
- Must have 4 years of Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws degree from a recognized university with a minimum 2nd Class or equivalent
- Must have license from Bangladesh Bar Council as legal practitioner
- SSC and HSC with minimum 2nd Class or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Extensive experience in legal advisory roles will be preferred
- Strong experience in:
- Corporate/Institutional legal affairs
- Legal consultancy and advisory services
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal documents
- Handling court cases and legal procedures
Additional Requirements
- Age maximum 60 years
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh laws, regulations, and legal procedures
- High level of professional integrity and ethical standards
- Excellent analytical, advisory, and communication skills
- Ability to provide timely legal guidance as and when required
