Job Description / Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling to students for mental health development.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Offer crisis intervention and emergency support when required.
  • Maintain confidential student records in compliance with ethical standards.
  • Design and conduct workshops on stress management, anxiety, time management, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with academic departments regarding student mental health concerns as well as administration.
  • Refer students to external mental health providers when necessary.
  • Promote mental health awareness initiatives across campus.

Educational Qualifications
  • Master's and Bachelor degree in Psychology from any public university, with minimum CGPA 3.25 out of 4.00 in both degrees.
  • Candidate having Master's degree in Clinical Psychology/Counselling Psychology will be given preference.
  • SSC and HSC with minimum GPA 4.00 out of 5.00
Experience Requirements
  • At least 10 years on Mental Health Counselling.
  • Candidate having experience on counselling of university student/adolescent mental health will be an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
  • Only female candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Candidate should have registration in Bangladesh Psychology Council (BPC)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written Bangla and English as well as listening skill and empathic attitude.
  • Candidate must have the mentality to obey Professional Ethics and Code of Conduct.
  • Age maximum 45 year(s).
  • Friendly attitude towards the students.
  • Must have full capacity on using psychometric test (IQ test, personality test, depression test)
  • Must have ability to conduct Mental Health Awareness and prevention program.
  • Have full knowledge on career counselling and stress management.
